Trong thời kì thế giới ngày càng phát triển như hiện nay , đối với các nước đã và đang trong quá trình hội nhập quốc tế, ngoài tiếng mẹ đẻ ra thì tiếng anh là một ngôn ngữ không thể nào thiếu được.Tiếng anh đã trở thành một ngôn ngữ chung mà không chỉ nằm ở phạm vi một khu vực thôi mà mở rộng ra nhiều nước ,nhiều châu lục khác nữa.

Như đã được biết, đất nước ta đang trong quá trình hội nhập quốc tế, thể hiện rõ nhất chính là Hiệp định Đối tác Kinh tế Chiến Lược xuyên Thái Bình gần đây của nước ta.Việc hội nhập đó mang lại nhiều lợi ích về chính trị, kinh tế quốc phòng…Để làm được những điều đó cần có sự hợp tác , sự thương lương giữa hai bên , nhưng trở ngài lớn nhất mà ta gặp phải đó lại là sự khác nhau về ngôn ngữ, vì vậy ta cần phải có một ngôn ngữ chung với họ, đó chính là lí do tại sao ta cần phải học tiếng anh.Bởi tiếng anh là một trong những ngôn ngữ thông dụng được sử dụng ở nhiều quốc gia,có tới khoảng 53 quốc gia khác nhau sử dụng tiếng anh như một ngôn ngữ chính thức và có khoảng 500 triệu tới 1 tỉ người trên toàn cầu đang sử dụng tiếng anh như 1 ngôn ngữ phụ , .Vậy tại sao tiếng anh lại trở nên quan trọng trong giao tiếp giữa các quốc gia ?Trước tiên , ta không thể phủ nhận đó là việc học tiếng anh chính là cơ hội là cánh cửa để cho các bạn học sinh Việt Nam có cơ hội được tiếp xúc với bạn bè thế giới . Đó có thể là cơ hội để đi du học, được tham gia vào những công việc ngành nghề ở nước ngoài mà các mình mong muốn hay đơn giản hơn chỉ là để có thể tiếp cận kiến thức, công nghệ khoa học tiên tiến, với những nền văn hóa thế giới mà ta chưa biết. Đồng thời đây cũng là điều kiện để mở rộng , thúc đẩy sự phát triển của nền kinh tế Việt Nam, mở rộng quan hệ giao tiếp , tạo tiền để để thu hút sự đầu tư của các tập đoàn, các công ty nước ngoài vào Việt Nam .Cũng như là điều kiện thuận lợi cho quá trình công nghiệp hóa hiện đại hóa và sự phát triển của công nghệ khoa học ở Việt Nam.
Tóm lại, tiếng anh là cách cửa cho sự hội nhập của đất nước chúng ,nó mang lại rất nhiều lợi ích phục vụ cho sự phát triển , hội nhập của đất nước, phá vỡ rào cản giữa các con người Việt Nam với bạn bè thế giới, tạo ra một tương lai mới vững mạnh hơn,phát triển hơn của nước ta. Ta cũng cần phải nâng cao vấn đề này bằng cách nâng cao việc giảng dạy, tạo sự hứng thú , ý thức về việc học tiếng anh đồng thời tạo ra những môi trường , sân chơi bổ ích để các bạn học sinh có cơ hội phát huy khả năng về tiếng anh của mình.
