Lãnh đạo BIDV đã có những đánh giá tích cực về sự phát triển và tăng trưởng của các doanh nghiệp dịch vụ logistics Việt Nam. Tuy nhiên năng lực cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp logistics Việt Nam vẫn còn thấp, thua xa so với các doanh nghiệp nước ngoài hiện nay và các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam chủ yếu vẫn đóng vai trò là “vệ tinh” cho các công ty logistics nước ngoài, chỉ đảm nhận một số dịch vụ đơn lẻ trong hoạt động logistics như làm thủ tục hải quan, cho thuê phương tiện vận tải, kho bãi…Để phát triển và năng cao năng lực cạnh tranh cho ngành logistics ở nước ta hiện nay, cần phải có sự chuyển biến đồng bộ và sự nỗ lực từ nhiều phía, trong đó các chính sách hỗ trợ nhằm nâng cao năng lực cho các doanh nghiệp Logistics là việc hết sức cấp thiết.
