Mặc dù lao động trẻ em mang lợi một số lợi ích như :

Ngoài ra lao động trẻ em góp phần tăng thu nhập, cải thiện cuộc sống, ít nhiều giáo dục ý thức yêu lao động, tự lập vươn lên. Tuy nhiên những những hệ lụy từ việc sử dụng lao động trẻ em không được luật pháp công nhận này đã và đang đặt ra rất nhiều nguy cơ cho sự phát triển lành mạnh của xã hội.
