Dựa vào booking Profile, điều khoản về cước phí là trả trước (freight prepaid) nên nhân viên chứng từ sẽ làm Debit note (giấy báo nợ) gửi khách hàng và chuyển cho bộ phận kế toán để theo dõi thu công nợ. Chỉ khi nào người gửi hàng thanh toán cước phí và các khoản phí liên quan ( THC, Bill fee, Seal fee…) thì nhân viên chứng từ mới cấp phát vận đơn cho họ.

Trong trường hợp cước phí trả sau (freight collect) nhân viên chứng từ sẽ làm Debit note (giấy báo nợ) thu cước người nhận hàng gửi đại lý tại cảng đến nhờ thu hộ, người gửi hàng chỉ đóng phụ phí tại Việt Nam và nhận vận đơn.
