hệ thống giáo dục ở việt nam có 3 cấp độ : tiểu học , trung học cơ sở , trung học phổ thông. học sinh bắt đầu lớp 1 lúc 6 tuổi và kết thúc chương trình học sau 5 năm.đây là cấp độ bắt buộc với mọi công dân . sau khi kết thúc ở cấp độ 1 học sinh nộp hồ sơ vào trường trung học và bắt đầu học từ lớp 6 và tốt nghiệp sau 4 năm . trường trung học là một cấp học bắt buộc để mọi người có thể có một nghề nhất định.Học sinh muốn được theo học tại các trường trung học phổ thông công lập phải dự một kỳ thi tuyển sinh sau khi học hết cấp trung học cơ sở . học sinh trải qua 3 năm học và sau đó dự tuyển kỳ thi để vào đại học . có hai loại trường học trong hệ thống trường học việt nam là công lập và tư nhân . học sinh học ở trường tư nhân đều phải trả một học phí rất đắt .
học sinh phải trải qua 2 học kỳ trong mỗi năm học .nền giáo dục ở việt nam rất được chú trọng quan tâm .
