Họp khai mạc
- Giới thiệu đoàn đánh giá;
- Tuyên bố lý do, mục đích, phạm vi, tiêu chuẩn và phương pháp đánh giá;
- Trao đổi và thống nhất các vấn đề còn trở ngại.
 Đánh giá theo checklist
- Dựa vào checklist được lập ra, các đánh giá viên chia theo từng hạng mục để đánh giá tài liệu, hồ sơ và kiểm tra nhà xưởng.
 Trường hợp đạt: Đánh vào yes (Phù hợp)
 Trường hợp không đạt: Đánh vào no (Không phù hợp)
 Trường hợp không áp dụng: Đánh vào N/A.
 Tìm và ghi lại
- Khi phát hiện sự không phù hợp đánh giá viên ghi nhận lại và chụp bằng chứng về các điểm không phù hợp.
 Phỏng vấn công nhân
- Đánh giá viên chọn ngẫu nhiên một số công nhân ở các bộ phận để phỏng vấn.
 Họp bế mạc
- Khi kết thúc đánh giá, đoàn đánh giá sẽ họp bế mạc để tổng kết các điểm phát hiện trong quá trình đánh giá nhằm:
 Ghi nhận những điểm không phù hợp được phát hiện từ các thành viên vào báo cáo đánh giá nội bộ;
 Thống nhất các phát hiện trong quá trình đánh giá để lập báo cáo đánh giá.
