SEV có trách nhiệm mở sổ sách theo dõi các khoản nợ phải thu theo từng đối tượng nợ; thường xuyên phân loại các khoản nợ như: nợ luân chuyển, nợ khó đòi, nợ không có khả năng thu hồi và đôn đốc thu nợ. Đối với các khoản nợ phải thu có gốc ngoại tệ phải theo dõi chi tiết từng loại ngoại tệ, cuối kỳ đánh giá và sử lý chênh lệch tỷ giá ngoại tệ theo quy định.
