o Năng lực cạnh tranh của các doanh nghiệp còn yếu, ngoài những tên tuổi đã nổi tiếng như: PVN, EVN, Viettel... hoạt động đầu tư của bộ phận doanh nghiệp còn lại vẫn chỉ thực hiện với tính chất nhỏ lẻ, thiếu gắn kết thậm chí là cạnh tranh khốc liệt gay gắt với chính tập đoàn, doanh nghiệp trong nước. Không gắn kết với cộng đồng doanh nghiệp, các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam thường hoạt động riêng rẽ, tự mình xử lý các rắc rối trên thị trường quốc tế. Tuy nhiên, khi xử lý các vấn đề, do thiếu nguồn thông tin và kiến thức pháp lý, các doanh nghiệp thường xuyên bị dính vào những vụ kiện pháp lý. Theo ông Phan Thế Ruệ - Nguyên thứ trưởng bộ thương mại, mỗi năm Việt Nam xảy ra gần 100 vụ kiện chống phá giá và tranh chấp thương mại pháp lý (Doanh nghiệp Việt ra nước ngoài: Thua vì thiếu hiểu biết). Điều này vô tình góp phần gây ảnh hưởng xấu tới hình ảnh của toàn thể cộng đồng doanh nghiệp trên thị trường tế.
