Những trường hợp mà tôi đi học thường thấy rất nhiều như là: increased tuition, large class sizes, or limited parking,... Trong đó thì large class sizes dễ thấy nhất.
Nhiều trường học quá nhỏ nên phòng học rất ít vì vậy mà một lớp có thể có 40 hoặc 45 học sinh. Học sinh quá đông nên việc chia lớp lại rất khó khăn cho nhà trường, thường thì đa số là các trường trung học cơ sở, trung học phổ thông hoặc các trường đại học,... Vì vậy mà khó có thể kiểm soát được quá trình học tập của học sinh trong lớp, học sinh đông quá dễ gây ồn ào trong lớp, không thể tập trung nghe thầy cô giảng bài nhất là những bạn ngồi phía cuối, khó có thể nhìn thấy bảng. Còn về giáo viên khi vào lớp thấy đông học sinh quá, họ có thể thấy choáng và khó có thể biết được tình hình học tập trong lớp. Đó là những trường hợp mà ta thấy rõ nhất. Do đó chúng ta cần nên có những biện pháp khắc phục tình trạng đó, nên có một con số chỉ tiêu nhận học sinh để phù hợp với từng lớp học, trong lớp chỉ khoảng 30 học sinh là đủ vì có thể quan sát được. chia thời khoá biểu cho từng lớp phù hợp để giáo viên có thể dạy được.
