Tăng trưởng tín dụng năm 2014 dự kiến đạt chỉ tiêu định hướng 12-14% đề ra từ đầu năm; trong đó đến ngày 19/12/2014 tín dụng đã tăng 11,8% so với cuối năm 2013. Cơ cấu tín dụng tiếp tục chuyển dịch theo hướng tích cực, tập trung vào các lĩnh vực sản xuất kinh doanh, đặc biệt là các lĩnh vực ưu tiên theo chủ trương của Chính phủ. Các chương trình, chính sách tín dụng ngành, lĩnh vực đã được hệ thống ngân hàng triển khai kịp thời, góp phần hỗ trợ tăng trưởng kinh tế và đảm bảo an sinh xã hội.
