Kính thưa quý vị cùng tất cả các bạn: Bảo vệ môi trường và chống Biến đổi khí hậu là những chủ đề lớn có tính cấp bách của toàn nhân loại hiện nay. Nghị định thư Kyoto và hội thảo Copenhagen với sự tham gia của 192 quốc gia trên thế giới là những minh chứng rõ ràng về điều ấy.
Vậy tại sao thế giới lại quan tâm đến vấn đề này như vậy? để hiểu được điều ấy trước hết chúng ta hãy tìm hiểu thế nào là môi trường và Biến đổi khí hậu.

- Biến đổi khi hậu chính là quá trình thay đổi của thời tiết, khí hậu, có thể là do con người hoặc thiên nhiên gây ra. Những biểu hiện cụ thể mà chúng ta vẫn thường nghe đến chính là hiện tượng trái đất không ngừng nóng lên, hiệu ứng nhà kính, hiện tượng băng tan…
Biến đổi khí hậu đang ngày càng trở thành vấn đề “nóng” ở mỗi quốc gia. Hằng năm chúng ta vẫn nhận ra từng dấu hiệu nhỏ của nó qua việc trái đất nóng lên, sức nóng đến ngột ngạt. Vậy nguyên nhân do đâu? Phải chăng những hành động tiêu cực con người chính là nguyên nhân chính là nguyên nhân?
Ngày nay con người với những phát minh khoa học kĩ thuật hiện đại, có nhiều cống hiến cho nhân loại nhưng chính những điều đó đã ảnh hưởng hưởng nhỏ đến môi trường như ô nhiễm không khí, ô nhiễm nước, ô nhiễm tiếng ồn…Chính con người đang lặng lẽ thay đổi khí hậu mà không biết.

Để làm được điều đó, em luôn phấn đấu học tập để trang bị cho mình vốn kiến thức, sự hiểu biết, từ đó định hướng và có những hành động thiết thực về Bảo vệ môi trường và chống Biến đổi khí hậu. Từ nhận thức biến thành hành động cụ thể, học sinh trường Trung học cơ sở Lê Hồng Phong đã và đang tham gia nhiều hoạt động có ý nghĩa như “đoạn đường em chăm”, xây dựng cổng trường xanh-sạch-đẹp; luôn luôn vệ sinh môi trường để tạo nên một khuôn viên trường học thân thiện, sạch sẽ, xanh tươi. Hi vọng những hành động nhỏ, việc làm thiết thực đó của chúng em sẽ tạo ra những mảnh vá nhỏ để nhập vào những những mảnh vá lớn của toàn cộng đồng góp phần làm cho hành tinh chúng ta ngày càng tươi đẹp.
