khác với học sinh việt nam thì hàn quốc sẽ bắt đầu bằng hai năm mẫu giáo, sáu năm tiểu học, ba năm trung học cơ sở ,ba năm trung học phổ thông và đại học là bốn năm. Ở hàn quốc học sinh sẽ ở tại trường từ 6 đến 7 tiếng trong một ngày và sẽ được nghỉ vào hai ngày thứ bảy và chủ nhật. Học sinh sẽ bắt đầu học vào tháng ba đến tháng bảy và bắt đầu học kì hai vào tháng chín đến tháng hai năm sau. Học sinh sẽ được nghỉ hai kỳ trong một năm là tháng bảy đến tháng chín nghỉ hè và tháng hai đến tháng ba với kỳ nghỉ đông
