Muốn cho các hoạt động dịch vụ CTXH đối với NBTT đạt hiệu quả cao thì việc đẩy mạnh công tác tuyên truyền là không thể thiếu và công tác tuyên truyền này chúng ta phải luôn luôn thực hiện thường xuyên và lâu dài. Và để có thể làm tốt được công tác này thì nhân viên CTXH phải tham mưu, đề xuất và phối hợp cùng với các phòng liên quan tại trung tâm và các ban ngành địa phương như Mặt trận, Hội phụ nữ, Đoàn Thanh niên, Hội cựu chiến binh, hội nông dân… tuyên truyền phổ biến sâu rộng trong mọi tầng lớp nhân dân về chủ trương, chính sách, chế độ quy định của Đảng và Nhà nước đối với đối tượng NBTT. Huy động nguồn lực từ trong gia đình, cộng đồng, xã hội tham gia tích cực vào việc hỗ trợ NBTT.
