Để phòng ngừa các sự cố, rủi ro và giảm thiểu khả năng phát sinh tai nạn lao động đảm bảo sức khoẻ và tính mạng cho công nhân viên trong quá trình thi công công trình, CĐT sẽ thực hiện các biện pháp sau:
 Trước khi đi vào san lấp xây dựng công trình, CĐT cho lập rào chắn tại các khu vực có dân cư qua lại, khu vực tiếp giáp với đường giao thông để hạn chế tối đa các khả năng xảy ra sự cố tai nạn giao thông và tai nạn lao động.
 Lập Ban an toàn lao động tại công trường và cử người chuyên trách; xây dựng, ban hành và bắt buộc công nhân tại công trường phải thực hiện nghiêm túc các nội quy làm việc tại công trường bao gồm nội quy ra vào nơi làm việc, nội quy về trang bị bảo hộ lao động, nội quy sử dụng thiết bị, nội quy về an toàn điện, nội quy an toàn cháy nổ…
 Tổ chức tập huấn về an toàn lao động, phòng chống cháy nổ và các biện pháp đối phó khi gặp sự cố trong quá trình thi công cho cán bộ công nhân lao động tại công trường.
 Thường xuyên giám sát chặt chẽ đối với vấn đề đảm bảo an toàn lao động đối với các công nhân phải làm việc trong điều kiện bất lợi.
 Kịp thời phát hiện và có phương án ứng cứu, khắc phục nhằm đảm bảo sức khoẻ và tính mạng cho công nhân tại công trường và tránh xảy ra tai nạn tương tự (các biện pháp sơ cứu ban đầu và gọi xe vận chuyển đến trung tâm y tế hoặc bệnh viện gần nhất).
 Trang bị các thiết bị bảo hộ cần thiết cho công nhân tại công trường như khẩu trang chống bụi và khí độc, mũ bảo hộ, găng tay, nút tai, kính và tấm chắn trong quá trình hàn xì, các thiết bị an toàn trong sử dụng điện, các thiết bị an toàn trong thi công trên sông như áo phao, phao cứu hộ...
3/ Biện pháp phòng ngừa, ứng phó tác động do phát hiện khảo cổ, lăng mộ, di tích lịch sử
 Trong quá trình thi công, nếu phát hiện các di vật có giá trị lịch sử và văn hóa, các lăng mộ, nhà thầu cần khoanh vùng an toàn, cử người canh gác bảo vệ và báo cho chính quyền địa phương để phối hợp bảo vệ.
 Thông báo cho CĐT hoặc các Cơ quan chức năng để giải quyết.
 Các biện pháp giảm thiểu các tác động rủi ro, sự cố sẽ được đưa vào hồ sơ mời thầu như một điều kiện bắt buộc đối với các nhà thầu.
4/ Biện pháp phòng ngừa, ứng phó tác động do mưa lũ
 Lập kế hoạch và tiến độ thi công cần xét đến thời kỳ mưa lớn từ tháng XI đến tháng V năm sau để có biện pháp dự phòng và tiến độ phù hợp.
 Thường xuyên theo dõi thời tiết để có biện pháp chủ động ứng phó.
