Bên cạnh đó là sự phát triển của ngành trắc địa đã và đang đóng vai trò quan trọng trong nhiều ngành kinh tế mũi nhọn, với đặc thù của mình trắc địa phải sử dụng nhiều thiết bị máy móc, thiết bị công nghệ cao hiện tại Việt Nam chưa thể sản xuất được phải nhập khẩu 100% từ nước ngoài. Hơn nữa, do đặc thù kinh doanh là máy móc, thiết bị đo đạc chuyên ngành nên thị trường của công ty bị bó hẹp trong phạm vi máy móc phục vụ công tác, nghiên cứu trắc địa.
Mặc dù, công ty có nhiều khách hàng và đối tác ở nhiều vùng miền và các tỉnh trên cả nước nhưng số lượng còn hạn chế, vẫn chưa khai thác được tối đa nguồn lực hiện có nhất là sự thành lập của trung tâm VLAS 323.
