Nhật Bản trong tôi là những ấn tượng khó quên từ thuở bé cho đến tận ngày nay. Xứ sở mặt trời mọc với tinh thần samurai và zen lôi cuốn tôi chìm trong vẻ đẹp tinh tế của hội họa, điêu khắc, thơ ca hay kịch nô… và đến tận bây giờ, niềm đam mê của tôi với Nhật vẫn không hề nhạt đi, dẫu chỉ một chút. Bởi thế, tôi luôn tìm cách tái hiện vẻ đẹp này trong nhiều bộ ảnh của mình.
Tranh Nhật cổ của thế kỷ 17-19 luôn tỏ ra quyến rũ và nóng bỏng từ đường nét đến bút pháp và cả những bí mật, song chúng lại ít được đề cập ở Việt Nam. Còn tôi lại rất muốn thể hiện được chất dữ dội của dòng tranh này qua hơi thở của thời trang. Tôi đã chọn khai thác góc cạnh câu chuyện về kiếm sỹ samurai ở một khung cảnh phòng the, bên cạnh nhân tình. Vẻ đẹp giàu cảm xúc và nóng bỏng thật sự làm nổi bật các trang phục do các nhà thiết kế thời trang Việt sáng tạo dưới âm hưởng của kịch Nô và Kabuki. Những bộ áo dùng hai màu đối lập đỏ-đen nổi bật kết hợp cùng kỹ năng tạo dáng của Hoàng Oanh và Trương Thanh Long cùng góc máy của nhiếp ảnh gia Tang Tang đã truyền đạt sự táo bạo và sức sống mãnh liệt. Đây cũng là bộ hình gây khá nhiều tranh cãi trong đợt triển lãm cá nhân vào tháng 7 vừa qua.

And I very much wanted to express intense nature of this controversy last line of fashion breath. I chose to exploit angled stories about samurai swordsmen in a bedroom setting, next to the mistress. Emotional beauty and sizzling real highlight costumes by fashion designer Vietnam echoes creative under the Christmas and Kabuki theater. The suit uses two red-black color opposites striking skills combined with Hoang Oanh and shaping of Truong Thanh Long and angle of the photographer Tang Tang conveyed boldness and vitality. It is also the picture is causing quite a controversy during a solo exhibition in July last.
