Khát vọng của tuổi trẻ là có cơ hội được học tập và phát triển, có cơ hội để lập thân, lập nghiệp, nên ước mơ vào đại học là ước mơ chính đáng, tha thiết và cao đẹp của nhiều người. Nhưng liệu vào đại học có phải là con đường duy nhất để lập thân, lập nghiệp?
Sau đây tôi xin bàn luận về một chủ đề hiện nay đang rất được quan tâm là “ thành đạt đâu chỉ học Đại học”
Có thể thấy rằng, từ xưa đến nay, Việt Nam luôn là một đất nước có truyền thống trọng khoa cử, truyền thống tôn sư trọng đạo, coi trọng người có thực học, thực tài. Những người có học vị cử nhân trở nên thường có cơ hội thuận lợi trong nghề nghiệp, dễ dàng thành đạt trong cuộc đời, thường có cuộc sống sung túc hơn cả về vật chất và tinh thần. Vì vậy cho con học đại học là ước muốn tha thiết của nhiều bậc làm cha, làm mẹ. Ước mơ tốt nghiệp đại học để có một cuộc sống tốt hơn, vẫn là ước muốn cao đẹp của thế hệ trẻ.
Dù vậy vào đại học không phải là con đường duy nhất để lập thân, lập nghiệp của tuổi trẻ. Các nhà văn như Nam Cao, Tô Hoài,.....đều chưa qua giảng đuờng đại học nhưng vẫn trở thành nhà văn nổi tiếng. Đối với nhưng nhà văn đấy, cuộc sống chính là trường đại học chân chính. Vào năm 20 tuổi, Bill Gates đã bỏ giở việc học, từ giã giảng đường đại họ Harvard, bắt tay vào việc viết những dòng mã lệnh cho hệ điều hành đầu tiên trên máy tính. Dù không học hết đại học, Bill Gates vẫn trở thành người đồng sáng lập, chủ tịch tập đoàn và kiến trúc sư trưởng của tập đoàn Microsoft nổi tiếng, đồng thời là một trong những người giàu nhất thế giới. Như vậy trong thực tế có nhiều người không qua trường đại học hoặc rời bỏ trường đại học nhưng vẫn là người thành đạt trong cuộc sống.
Thực tế cho thấy rằng, có đến 60% sinh viên làm trái ngành và thất nghiệp trong khoảng thời gian 5 tháng sau khi tốt nghiệp. Đây một con số đáng buồn cho nền giáo dục Đại học ViệtNam. Vậy đâu là nguyên nhân dẫn đến thực trạng trên? Chính là do trường đại học đã không đào tạo họ ra trường có thể bắt tay làm được việc ngay Tuy tốt nghiệp một trường Đại học nổi tiếng nhưng những kỹ năng làm việc, kiến thức về chuyên môn các bạn sinh viên tích lũy được khi đi học là không nhiều. Vì thực tế học Đại học ở ViệtNam, đào tạo và dạy nhiều thứ, một thứ được học một ít, cuối cùng không giỏi hay chuyên sâu về một lĩnh vực nào cả.
Vì vậy, bài học kinh nghiệm ở đây là, nếu không muốn rơi vào cảnh thất nghiệp dài hạn thì trong thời gian còn ngồi trên ghế nhà trường, các bạn phải xác định được một lĩnh vực mà các bạn đam mê, và để từ đó tự các bạn cần phải trau dồi kiến thức chuyên môn trong lĩnh vực đó đồng thời cần phải rèn luyện thêm các kỹ năng mềm như kỹ năng giao tiếp, thuyết trình ,kỹ năng giải quyết vấn đề….
và vào đại học chưa phải là lựa chọn tốt nhất cho học sinh

Though not end, Bill Gates still became the co-founder, Chairman and Chief Architect of the Microsoft Corporation, is one of the richest in the world. So in fact there are not many people through University or leaving University but still was the success in life. The fact shows that there are 60% of students left the industry and unemployment in the period of 5 months after graduation. This is a sad figure for university education in Vietnam. So where is the cause leading to the above situation? Is due to the University did not train them out of school can shake hands to do right But graduated from a famous University, but the work skills, knowledge of the expertise accumulated when going to school is no more. Because of the fact the universities in Vietnam, training and teach many things, one learned a little, or not good at final depth of a field at all. So, the lessons learned here is, if not falling into long-term unemployment, the scene while sitting on the bench, you have to identify a field that you are passionate about, and from which the self you need to hone your expertise in that field at the same time the need to work out more soft skills such as communication skills , presentation, problem-solving skills. ...and the University is not the best choice for students
