Thành lập từ năm 1956, bệnh viện nhi đồng 1 là một trong những bệnh viện đầu tiên của Saigon về chuyên khoa nhi. Với bề dày 60 năm hoạt động, bệnh viện trở thành bệnh viện đầu ngành về chuyên khoa nhi của khu vực miền Nam cũng như cả nước. Với số lượng bệnh nhân đông, loại bệnh đa dạng, đội ngũ bác sĩ giỏi, hợp tác quốc tế mạnh mẽ, bệnh viện nhi đồng 1 là một nơi tuyệt vời để một bác sĩ mới ra trường có cơ hội học tập, rèn luyện tay nghề, phát triển và hoàn thiện bản thân. Do đó tôi thật sự rất muốn có cơ hội trờ thành bác sĩ làm việc tại bệnh viện nhi đồng 1.
Mặt khác, quãng thời gian thực tập tại bệnh viện nhi đồng 1 đã gây ấn tượng tốt với tôi.
