Cha mẹ nào cũng cho rằng khi con mình ở độ tuổi thanh thiếu niên thì luôn ham chơi,làm việc một cách thiếu suy nghĩ, không biết phép lịch sự, rất tự do, muốn làm những việc mình thích mà không quan tâm gì cả. Nhiều khi còn sống rất phóng túng, ích kỷ, chỉ nghĩ đến bản thân của mình. Và cũng quá lạm dụng vào Internet. Ví dụ ở bất kỳ đâu chúng đề dùng thời gian của mình để truy cập Internet, chat với bạn bè. Cha mẹ nghĩ rằng điều đó không có lợi cho những thiếu niên. Họ nghĩ rằng chúng coi việc học không quan trọng và không học hành một cách nghiêm túc.Cha mẹ tuy nghĩ như vậy nhưng họ cũng cho rằng thiếu niên hiện giờ bao gồm cả con của họ đều có ý chí để đạt được mục tiêu đề ra: về học tập, cuộc sống hay bất cứ điều gì. Họ cũng nghĩ rằng dù như thế nào thì chúng nó cũng coi trọng gia đình, dù có phạm sai lầm như thế nào thì chúng cũng sẽ nhận ra rằng gia đình luôn luôn bên cạnh chúng.
