Công ty Dung dịch khoan và Hoá phẩm Dầu khí đã được thành lập theo quyết định số 182/ QĐ-TCDK ngày 8/3/1990 của Tổng Cục Dầu khí, để đáp ứng nhu cầu cấp bách sản xuất hoá phẩm dung dịch khoan. Ngày 28/4/2005, Công ty Dung dịch khoan và Hoá Phẩm Dầu khí chuyển thành Công ty Cổ phần theo Quyết định số 1544/QĐ-TCCB của Bộ Công Nghiệp; Ngày 18/10/2005, Công ty Cổ phần Dung dịch khoan và Hoá Phẩm Dầu khí chính thức hoạt động theo Giấy chứng nhận ĐKKD số 0103009579 do Sở Kế hoạch và Đầu tư Thành phố Hà Nội cấp ngày 18/10/2005. Giấy chứng nhận ĐKKD này được Sở Kế hoạch Đầu tư Thành phố Hà Nội cấp thay đổi lần thứ 3 vào ngày 26/10/2007;
