1. Save four nature photos—your own

1. Save four nature photos—your own, clip art images, copyright-free photos from the web, or a combination of the three—to a folder.

2. Open a new blank presentation. Then click the Photo Album button in the Images group on the Insert tab.

3. Browse to the folder in which you saved the photos, select them, and then click Insert.

4. In the Photo Album dialog box, select the last photo and move it up to make it the second photo.

5. Preview the photos, and adjust the contrast and brightness to make the four photos more even in tone.

10. Display slide 2, and crop the photo on the left to a focal point of your choice, making sure you keep the aspect ratio. Then repeat the cropping process for the photo on the right.
11. Resize the photos so they fill most of the space on the slide.

12. Display slide 3, and crop both photos to square dimensions, adjusting the crop window to focus on a point of interest. Then enlarge them to occupy most of the space on the slide.

13. Save your changes. Then display slide 2.

14. Remove the background from the photo on the left, and change the picture style of the photo on the right to Soft Edge Rectangle.

15. Apply an artistic effect to the images on slide 3.

16. Save your changes and then close the file.
