1. Nhựa nhiệt dẻo kết tinh
(1) PE (Polyetylene)
Vật liệu từ PE có tính chảy lỏng tốt, khoảng nhiệt độ khuôn rộng, bền nhiệt. Tuy nhiên loại vật liệu này có độ co rút cao, dễ bị cong vênh và biến dạng.
(2) PP (Polypropylene)
Đặc tính của nhựa PP gần giống như PE. Có khả năng chảy lỏng tốt và co rút lớn. Khi ép phun trong điều kiện áp suất thấp, vật liệu nhựa PP rất dễ cong vênh và biến dạng. Cần cẩn thận cao.
(3) PA (Polyamide) (Nylon)
Khác với những loại nhựa nhiệt dẻo khác, độ nhớt của PA rất nhạy nhiệt. Điểm nóng chảy của PA rõ ràng và chính xác hơn, nhiệt độ định hình cao hơn những vật liệu khác. PA là vật liệu nhựa có tính hút ẩm cao. Cần thời gian sấy đủ lâu. Lưu ý rằng PA sẽ chuyển màu khi sấy ở nhiệt độ hơn 90°C.
