Sau khi Samsung, Sony và HTC liên tục có động thái giảm giá các dòng flagship thì mới đây, công ty điện tử LG Electronics Việt Nam cũng quyết định giảm giá dòng flagship G4 của hãng. Cụ thể, từ ngày 22/08/2015, phiên bản G4 nắp lưng da được giảm giá 2 triệu đồng còn phiên bản vỏ nhựa giảm 500.000 đồng, khoảng cách giá bán giữa hai phiên bản được rút gọn lại chỉ còn 500 nghìn đồng.
Sau khi ra mắt thị trường Việt Nam hồi đầu tháng 7, cả hai sản phẩm không thật sự nhận được sự quan tâm của người dùng Việt Nam. Và trong bối cảnh các đối thủ cạnh tranh liên tục hạ giá thành, việc điều chỉnh giá bán là hành động bắt buộc của LG nhằm duy trì sức cạnh tranh của sản phẩm trên thị trường.
