Theo Thời báo Tài chính của Anh hôm 13/1, việc ký kết biên bản ghi nhớ với Hãng Hàng không Quốc gia Việt Nam (Vietnam Airlines) vừa qua sẽ giúp tập đoàn hàng không lớn nhất Nhật Bản All Nippon Airways (ANA) đẩy nhanh hơn nữa kế hoạch đầu tư vào thị trường hàng không đang phát triển mạnh ở khu vực Đông Nam Á. Quyết định này cũng chứng tỏ Việt Nam là một thị trường hàng không đầy hấp dẫn đối với tập đoàn Nhật Bản.

Trong khuôn khổ biên bản ghi nhớ, tập đoàn ANA sẽ mua 8,8% cổ phần của Vietnam Airlines với giá trị 2.431 tỷ đồng để có thể trở thành cổ đông chiến lược của Vietnam Airlines.

ANA và Vietnam Airlines sẽ cùng thực hiện các chuyến bay liên danh trên những tuyến đường cụ thể nối Việt Nam và Tokyo. Như vậy, mỗi hãng đều có thể mở rộng mạng lưới của mình.
