Trò chơi 1: Simon says
- Mục đích: Đây là trò chơi mà học sinh phải làm theo mệnh lệnh của giáo viên. Chỉ cần một vài phút để thực hiện trò chơi này vì rất đơn giản. Trò chơi này phát triển kỉ năng nghe (Listening skill) của học sinh và tạo sự chú ý, lôi cuốn học sinh vào bài mới.
- Chuẩn bị: không cần chuẩn bị bất kỳđồ dùng nào.
- Cách chơi: Ví dụ: T (teacher): (nói với cả lớp) “Simon says, stand up”
S (student): Cả lớp đứng dậy
T: “Simon says, clap your hands”
S: Cả lớp vỗ tay.
T: Không nói “Simon says” mà chỉ nói “Sit down”
S: Không làm theo mệnh lệnh này ví giáo viên không nói “Simon says”
Giáo viên có thể sử dụng các mệnh lệnh mà học sinh đã biết. Khi nói mệnh lệnh giáo viên nên nói thật nhanh tạo cho trò chơi vui hơn và buộc học sinh phải chú ý và phản xạ nhanh hơn. Có thể dùng những mệnh lệnh sau: “Close your books, close your eyes, put your hands up, look behind you, talk to your friend, pick up your pen , …”
Giáo viên có thể sử dụng trò chơi khi bắt đầu bài học.
