Nhận thấy được Internet là một phương tiện truyền thông ngày càng gắn bó chặt chẽ thân thiết với sinh viên và sự tham gia sử dụng Internet của sinh viên ngày càng nhiều. Chính vì vậy, tác giả chọn đề tài: "Tìm hiểu mục đích sử dụng Internet của sinh viên hiện nay" làm đề tài luận văn của mình. Ý thức được rằng đây là vấn đề mới và ít được nghiên cứu chuyên sâu.
Đề tài tập trung vào "Tìm hiểu mục đích sử dụng Internet của sinh viên" trong giai đoạn hiện nay, trên cơ sở đó đưa ra một bức tranh chung về tình hình sử dụng Internet của sinh viên trường Đại học Tài Chính Marketing. Tìm hiểu những mục đích, nội dung mà sinh viên truy cập Internet. Đồng thời tìm hiểu tác động của Internet đối với đời sống học tập của sinh viên. Từ đó đưa ra các giải pháp hợp lý để Internet trở thành công cụ , người bạn hữu ích .
