Sáng ngày 10/9, Bệnh viện Tâm thần tỉnh Thái Bình long trọng tổ chức lễ khánh thành và đón nhận Bằng khen của Thủ tướng Chính phủ. Đồng chí Cao Thị Hải, Tỉnh ủy viên, Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh tới dự.

Công trình Bệnh viện Tâm thần tỉnh được xây dựng trong Khu trung tâm y tế (phường Trần Lãm, Thành phố Thái Bình), có diện tích 22.176 m2, số vốn đầu tư gần 124 tỷ đồng cấp từ ngân sách Nhà nước, Trái phiếu Chính phủ và các nguồn vốn khác. Được khởi công xây dựng từ tháng 12/2011, sau hơn 1 năm thi công, công trình đã hoàn thành đúng tiến độ thời gian, bảo đảm kỹ thuật, mỹ thuật; được bàn giao và đưa vào sử dụng phục vụ công tác khám, chữa bệnh, chăm sóc sức khỏe cộng đồng. Đây cũng là công trình đầu tiên được khánh thành và đưa vào sử dụng tại Khu trung tâm y tế.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, đồng chí Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh ghi nhận và biểu dương những kết quả tập thể, cán bộ, công nhân viên Bệnh viện đạt được trong thời gian qua, đề nghị Bệnh viện tiếp tục phát huy tinh thần đoàn kết, đổi mới sáng tạo, nâng cao hơn nữa năng lực khám, điều trị cho bệnh nhân tâm thần trong tỉnh, xứng đáng là một trong những đơn vị chuyên khoa đầu ngành.

Nhân dịp này, thừa ủy quyền của Thủ tướng Chính phủ, đồng chí Phó Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh đã trao tặng Bằng khen cho tập thể cán bộ, công nhân viên Bệnh viện vì đã có thành tích xuất sắc trong giai đoạn 2008 – 2012.
