Con Dao National Park is a protected area located north of Con Dao District, Ba Ria-Vung Tau. The scope of this national park covers an area the island and surrounding sea areas. In 2006, a UNESCO mission to Vietnam was to the park area survey and appreciate the biodiversity of natural systems here. UNESCO Vietnam said that the park is eligible for submission to UNESCO as a mixture of natural heritage and culture [1]. The Prime Minister has directed the Ministry of Culture and Information and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province documentation to the UNESCO soon.
