Bài giới thiệu về học bổng Mitsubishi và Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi Nhật Bản năm học 2016-2017
Học bổng Mitsubishi là học bổng do Ngân hàng Tài chính thống nhất Nhật Bản – Ngân hàng Tokyo Mitsubishi tài trợ. Với mục tiêu đóng góp cho sự nghiệp phát triển giáo dục của ĐHQGHN nói riêng và của Việt Nam nói chung, kể từ khi biên bản thoả thuận hợp tác về Chương trình học bổng giữa ĐHQGHN và Quỹ Tài chính Thống nhất Nhật Bản - Mitsubishi được ký kết, năm học 2016-2017 là năm học thứ 22 liên tiếp, sinh viên của ĐHQGHN nhận được sự quan tâm, giúp đỡ thiết thực bằng các suất học bổng có giá trị từ phía Quỹ. Đối tượng nhận học bổng là sinh viên năm thứ ba, năm thứ tư đạt kết quả học tập và kết quả rèn luyện tốt với giá trị học bổng là 310 USD/năm. Học bổng ưu tiên cho các sinh viên tham gia nghiên cứu khoa học, có hoàn cảnh khó khăn tích cực tham gia các hoạt động hỗ trợ cộng đồng,..Sinh viên đã được nhận học bổng này năm học trước có thể tiếp tục được nhận học bổng năm tiếp theo, nếu đáp ứng được yêu cầu tuyển chọn và được Hội đồng xét duyệt học bổng đồng ý.
Quỹ học bổng Mitsubishi UFJ được trao cho sinh viên Việt Nam từ năm 1995 đến nay. Năm 2010, quỹ học bổng đã nâng giá trị mỗi suất lên gần 50% giá trị của các năm trước. Chương trình trao học bổng là một hoạt động thường niên của chương trình “Học bổng quốc tế Ngân hàng Tokyo - Mitsubishi UFJ” được triển khai từ năm 2000 đến nay, với mục đích hỗ trợ tài chính cho sinh viên của 23 nước, trong đó có Việt Nam. Quỹ Ngân hàng Tài chính Thống nhất Nhật Bản – Ngân hàng Tokyo – Mitsubishi hay gọi tắt là Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi đã tài trợ học bổng Mitsubishi cho sinh viên có đủ tiêu chuẩn trong một số trường đại học. Với vị thế là một trong những tập đoàn tài chính hàng đầu của Nhật Bản và thế giới, hàng năm, ngân hàng Tokyo Mitsubishi thông qua quỹ Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ đã tham gia rất tích cực vào sự phát triển của xã hội. Quỹ học bổng Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ đã có những sự phối hợp cộng tác hết sức chặt chẽ và bền vững với các trường đại học nói chung và Đại học Quốc gia nói riêng trong nhiều năm qua. Điều này đã góp phần khích lệ tinh thần sinh viên, đồng thời mở ra những cơ hội để sinh viên có điều kiện phấn đấu và rèn luyện giúp sinh viên hoàn thành chương trình học tập của mình một cách tốt nhất. Qua đó đóng góp vào sự phát triển chung của các trường đại học trong cả nước. Quỹ học bổng Tokyo – Mitsubishi và Học bổng Mitsubishi đã đồng hành sinh viên các trường đại học ở Việt Nam trong một thời gian dài, giúp sinh viên Việt Nam có cơ hội được được thỏa mãn hoài bão của mình, giúp họ nuôi dưỡng khát khao, đam mê và không ngừng sáng tạo.
