Nhà thầu phải đảm bảo Bảo lãnh tạm ứng có hiệu lực cho đến khi thu hồi toàn bộ tiền tạm ứng, tuy nhiên giá trị của bão lãnh có thể được khấu trừ từng đợt tương ứng với số tiền tạm ứng thu hồi từ Nhà thầu. Nếu các điều khoản của bảo lãnh nêu rõ ngày hết hạn bảo lãnh, Nhà thầu sẽ phải gia hạn hiệu lực bảo lãnh cho tới thời điểm toàn bộ giá trị tạm ứng được thu hồi
