Các nhóm đã được dự án hướng dẫn về thủ tục thành lập nhóm, xây dựng quy chế, tập huấn về lập kế hoạch sản xuất kinh doanh, tập huấn kỹ thuật chăn nuôi, trồng trọt. Một số nhóm đã đi vào hoạt động cho kết quả tốt như các nhóm chăn nuôi bò thịt, nhóm trồng lạc giống. Các nhóm lạc đã có hoạt động hợp tác trong tiêu thụ sản phẩm. Trong các nhóm đã hình thành có 9 nhóm (10%) có quy chế và kế hoạch sản xuất, cũng có 9 nhóm đã hình thành được quỹ nhóm, như ở xã Mã Ba (3), Hồng Sỹ (3), Sỹ Hai (1), Thượng Thôn (1), Vần Dính (1).
