Do mục tiêu và nội dung hoạt động của IYF rất gần gũi với các tiêu chí về thanh niên của UNESCO nên giữa FVUA và IYF đang xúc tiến đàm phán một số chương trình hợp tác có ý nghĩa cho thanh niên Việt Nam và thanh niên thế giới nói chung. Đối với VFUA thì IYF chính là một cánh cửa rộng lớn để quảng bá cho các mục tiêu lý tưởng hòa bình cao đẹp của UNESCO cho thanh thiếu niên và cho phép chúng tôi một số điều kiện thuận lợi để triển khai các chương trình hoạt động bổ ích cho thanh thiếu niên Việt Nam/
