nhất và trong một cộng đồng toàn cầu thì mọi người sẽ đặt lợi ích chung lên
hàng đầu.Thực tế dường như ngược lại. Mỗi nền văn hóa đều tự phân biệt nó
với các nền văn hóa khác bằng cách chọn những phương án giải quyết riêng
trong những tình huống cụ thể. Trong các nền văn hóa khác nhau thì những
hiện tượng như quyền lực, quan liêu, sự sáng tạo, tình bằng hữu và sự thẩm
tra và khả năng chịu trách nhiệm được trải nghiệm theo các cách khác nhau.
Việc chúng ta sử dụng những từ giống nhau để miêu tả những hiện tượng đó
sẽ dẫn tới việc không nhận thức được những thành kiến văn hóa, và thói quen
của chúng ta có thể không phù hợp hoặc không tương đồng với người khác.
