Cũng vì quan niệm đó mà đã có nhiều người chồng xem mình là “chúa” muốn làm gì thì làm ở trong gia đình, họ ăn nhậu xịn và thường trút giận lên người vợ từ đó đã dẫn đến bạo lực gia đình,gây bất bình đẳng giới cho phụ nữ, ảnh hưởng tới sự phát triển, cống hiến và đóng góp của người phụ nữ trong xã hội.
