Gia nhập WTO , việt nam sẽ tiếp cận những công nghệ tiên tiến , những thị trường tài chính hàng đầu thế giới . Bởi lẽ, thành viên WTO có những quốc gia là những nền kinh tế hàng đầu thế giới có khoa học công nghệ , năng lực quản lý ở trình độ cao , hệ thống tài chính , tiền tệ phát triển . Từ đó , Việt Nam sẽ tiếp nhận những công nghệ mới , ứng dụng vào sản xuất , quản lý . mặt khác việt Nam sẽ tiếp nhận nguồn nhân lực và vật lực lớn từ những nước này .

là thành viên của WTO , Việt nam sẽ nâng cao vị thế trong các mối quan hệ quốc tế . Trong việc biểu quyết những vấn đề liên quan đến WTO , đặc biệt trong việc giải quyết những tranh chấp trong kinh doanh thương mại quốc tế , Việt Nam bình đẳng với các quốc gia thành viên của WTO.
