Ban đầu nhà thờ chính là tu viện chính của hơn 50 nữ tu sĩ, họ đã tham gia làm các công tác xã hội như: Mở cô nhi viện, nhà trẻ,…cho đến tận bây giờ tuy dòng tu chính đã chuyển về thành phố Hồ Chí Minh nhưng vẫn luôn thực hiện tôn chí của dòng là phục vụ người nghèo khó, họ đã mở các cơ sở như: chăm sóc những người chậm phát triển, cô nhi, chữa bệnh cho người nghèo, mở các trung tâm dạy nghề miễn phí,… Hiện nay ngoài nhà nguyện và hai dãy tu viện, các cơ sở khác đã được sử dụng cho công ích.
