Việt Nam có nhiều cảnh quan hấp dẫn, văn hóa độc đáo, đặc sắc, con người thân thiện, mến khách, phù hợp với nhu cầu khám phá, trải nghiệm của du khách Hàn Quốc. Cùng với đó, người dân Việt Nam cũng mong muốn tìm hiểu, trải nghiệm nền văn hóa, cảnh quan tự nhiên của Hàn Quốc. Thuận lợi về visa, đường hàng không... là những điều kiện tốt cho phát triển du lịch hai nước. Nói về tiềm năng phát triển của thị trường du lịch Việt Nam, Tổng cục trưởng Tổng cục Du lịch Hàn Quốc cho biết, thị trường Việt Nam là thị trường có tốc độ tăng trưởng đạt tới hơn 50%.
