Việc học ở nhà có những lợi ích sau đây:đầu tiên là chi phí sách vở,những phụ phí khác được tiết kiệm tối đa. Thứ hai,học ở nhà tránh được tình trạng kẹt xe, tránh được tai nạn giao thông. Thứ ba,việc học ở nhà thoải mái hơn khi đến trường bởi vì học sinh không bị bó buộc vào các luật lệ của nhà trường. Ví dụ được mặc đồ tự do,có thể vừa ăn vừa học, ít bị thầy cô la mắng hơn. Một điều bất lợi của phương pháp học ở nhà là việc tiếp xúc giao tiếp với bạn bè sẽ bị hạn chế, mối quan hệ xây dựng là ảo. Tuy là có một số nhược điểm nhưng theo xu hướng hội nhập quốc tế trong tương lai học sinh nói riêng và giới trẻ nói chung sẽ áp dụng cách thức học tập và làm việc ở nhà thông qua mạng internet. Là học sinh ở thế kỉ hiện đại được tiếp thu nhìu nền khoa học tiên tiến nên em sẽ ưu tiên chọn cách học sử dụng công nghệ
