Trong số tất cả các ngày lễ đặc biệt ở nước tôi, tôi thích Tết nhất. Tết là dịp để tất cả mọi người được quây quần bên nhau trong bầu không khí ấm áp. Trước khi nghỉ Tết, mọi người chuẩn bị nhiều thứ cho lễ kỷ niệm và trang trí , dọn dẹp lại ngôi nhà của họ. Họ mua rất nhiều thứ như quần áo, thực phẩm và các loại hoa, cay cảnh về trang rí nhà cửa.... Bên cạnh đó, hầu hết các đường phố cũng cũng được trang trí đẹp mắt với đèn nhiều màu sắc và hoa.
Trong dịp Tết, tất cả mọi người dành nhiều thời gian về thăm người thân, bạn bè và đồng nghiệp. Đặc biệt, họ trao cho nhau những lời chúc tốt đẹp cho năm mới. Tết là một cơ hội cho trẻ em được nhận tiền lì xì. Có một điều buồn cười là mọi người cố gắng để tránh tranh luận hoặc nói bất cứ điều xấu trong ngày Tết. Dịp đầu năm mới cũng là thời điểm mọi người dành thời gian đi chùa, đi lễ hội để du xuân, cầu bình an , hạnh phúc cho gia đình.
Gia đình tôi cũng đón năm mới theo cách truyền thống. Vào đêm giao thừa, đúng 12 giờ, mẹ tôi đều chuẩn bị rất nhiều đồ ăn , thức uống để cúng ông bà và tạ ơn trời đất. Sau đó, cả gia đình tôi cùng nhau ngắm pháo hoa . Tôi sẽ chúc bố mẹ , ông bà những điều tốt đẹp trong năm mới còn mọi người sẽ mừng tuổi cho tôi.
Sáng mùng 1, mùng 2 cả nhà tôi sẽ cùng nhau chuẩn bị mâm cơm cúng ông bà tổ tiên , sau đó cùng nhau đi chúc tết cô di, chú bác. Bắt đầy từ mùng 3 trở đi mọi người sẽ dành cho nhau những khoảng thời gian riêng. Bố mẹ tôi thì tranh thủ đi chúc tết những người ban hay họ hàng ở xa.Còn tôi thì cũng đi chúc tết thầy cô cũ hay đi chơi xuân cùng bạn bè. Không khí ngày tết rất nhộn nhịp, vui tươi và đầm ấm.
Tết đến , điều làm tôi cảm thấy hứng thú nhất là được mẹ mua cho quần áo mới, được phụ gia đình gói bánh trưng và đặc biệt là được nhận nhiều lì xì.
