Trường nhận nuôi dạy các em khiếm thính (câm điếc) có độ tuổi từ 6-15 tuổi, không phân biệt thành phần tôn giáo, chủ yếu là các em ở các tỉnh trong Giáo phận Mỹ Tho: Tiền Giang, Long An và Đồng Tháp, ở trường các em được dạy học chữ bậc tiểu học từ lớp 1-5 theo chương trình của Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo, học 7- 9 năm và được học các nghề phổ thông, gia chánh như may, thêu, đan, làm bánh, cưa khắc gỗ. Ngoài việc dạy chữ và nghề ra, nhà trường còn chú trọng đến phát triển thể chất lẫn tinh thần, giúp các em có những kỹ năng sống cần thiết, tự tin hơn để hòa nhập cộng đồng.
