Đạo đức kinh doanh thể hiện ở tính chân thật của các báo cáo tài chính của doanh nghiệp nộp cho ngân hàng để xin cấp vốn. Hiện nay có rất nhiều hiện tượng doanh nghiệp làm báo cáo giả để qua mắt công tác thẩm định của ngân hàng. Một số các doanh nghiệp khác dùng hồ sơ thế chấp tài sản bảo đảm giả, rồi sau khi được giải ngân thì bỏ trốn. Tất cả những việc đó đều ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng tới chất lượng tín dụng cũng như hoạt động kinh doanh của ngân hàng
