Kiểm tra đánh giá khuyến khích sinh viên học tập tích cực và chủ động, không chỉ đánh giá kiến thức, mà còn cả kỹ năng, phẩm chất đạo đức và năng lực của sinh viên trong suốt quá trình học. Trước khi học môn học, giảng viên công bố cho sinh viên biết yêu cầu, tiêu chí, thứ tự, phần trăm đánh giá của từng loại hình kiểm tra đánh giá trước, trong và cuối kỳ học
