Để có thể được là phóng viên của kênh , theo tôi phóng viên phải đạt yêu cầu về 2 mặt là năng lực và phẩm chất.
Về mặt năng lực trước hết phóng viên phải có trình độ chuyên môn vững vàng, giỏi ngoại ngữ và cả nghiệp vụ báo chí. Luôn nhạy bén trong triển khai công việc, nhạy bén trong tìm và chọn lọc các thông tin cũng như phải hiểu biết chuyên sâu về nhiều lĩnh vực khác nhau nhằm phân tích, lý giải các chủ trương chính sách của Đảng và nhà nước.
Về phẩm chất, một phóng viên phải luôn luôn đặt đạo đức báo chí lên hàng đầu. Phẩm chất đạo đức của phóng trước hết thể hiện ở tính khách quan, công tâm, trung thực trước những sự vật, hiện tượng mà phóng viên đưa tin. Qua các tác phẩm báo chí của mình, phóng viên phải làm cho độc giả hiểu đúng, hiểu đầy đủ về những vấn đề mình viết.
Ngoài ra phóng viên phải có bản lĩnh chính trị vững vàng, luôn luôn kiên định với đường lối chính sách của Đảng và nhà Nước, không hoang mang dao động, không chịu ảnh hưởng của những luận điệu sai trái, mà phải có ý thức tấn công quyết liệt với những luận điểm sai trái.
