Nguyên tắc Đối xử quốc gia (NT): các thành viên TPP cam kết sẽ dành cho các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ của các nước thành viên khác sự đối xử không thuận lợi hơn sự đối xử dành cho các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ trong nước.

Nguyên tắc Đối xử huệ quốc (MFN): đòi hỏi các nước thành viên TPP phải dành cho các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ của một nước Thành viên TPP khác sự đối xử không kém sự thuận lợi hơn sự đối xử dành cho các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ của nước không phải là thành viên TPP.

Nguyên tắc về tiếp cận thị trường ( market access): yêu cầu các nước thành viên TPP không áp đặt các hạn chế về số lượng dịch vụ hoặc yêu cầu nhà cung cấp phải thành lập một hình thức pháp lý nhất định.

Nguyên tắc về hiện diện thương mại ( local presence): không thành viên TPP nào được yêu cầu nhà cung cấp dịch vụ của nước thành viên TPP khác phải thiết lập bất kỳ hình thức doanh nghiệp nào trên lãnh thổ của mình.
