Khu bảo tồn Thiên Nhiên Phú Quốc đư

Khu bảo tồn Thiên Nhiên Phú Quốc được thành lập năm 1986 và sau này mở rộng lên tới 37000ha. Khu bảo tồn này có nhiều loài thực vật và động vật phong phú, phần lớn có ở vùng núi phía Bắc hòn đảo. Có khoảng 922 loài thực vật, trong đó có 19 loài mới được tìm thấy và lần đầu tiên được ghi nhận ở Việt Nam. Khu rừng là nơi cư trú của nhiều loài chim và động vật có vú.

Phu Quoc Nature Reserve was established in 1986 and was later extended up to 37000ha. This protected area has many plant and animal species richness, mostly in the mountains of the North of the island. About 922 plant species, including 20 new species were found and it was first recorded in Vietnam. The forest is home to many species of birds and mammals.
