- Trước khi lắp cột thép phải kiểm tra lại vị trí của các móng, mặt tựa, dùng
máy trắc địa ( thuỷ bình ) để kiểm tra. Việc kiểm tra được thực hiện theo yêu cầu kỹ thuật của thiết kế và dung sai ghi tại bảng 2 kèm theo. kết quả kiểm tra được ghi vào nhật ký lắp ghép và thể hiện trên hồ sơ hoàn công.
- Vị trí của các cột trên mặt bằng có chính xác hay không là do việc chuẩn bị mặt tựa của móng tốt hay chưa tốt. Có 3 phương pháp chuẩn bị móng cột thép :
- Phương pháp thứ nhất : Đặt cột ở trên mặt móng vào đúng cao trình thiết kế ngay. Phương pháp này yêu cầu độ chính xác khi gia công phải cao, bê tông mặt móng phải thật bằng phẳng.
- Phương pháp thứ hai : Đặt cốt tỳ lên trên một sống tựa bằng thép đã chôn sẵn ở đúng độ cao thiết kế.
- Phương pháp lắp đế trước : Đặt cột lên trên tấm đế thép của cột, tấm này đã được lắp chính xác ở cao độ thiết kế trên móng bê tông đã đổ trước.
