Từ đó Apple đã buộc phải cắt giảm đơn đặt hàng Iphone 5C và cho ngưng sản xuất dòng sản phẩm này tại các nhà máy ở Trung Quốc. Hầu hết tất cả các nước Brazil, Mỹ, Ấn Độ, Trung Quốc cũng đều ghẻ lạnh với 5C mặc dù đã được đẩy thấp mức giá 10% so với giá ban đầu.
