Hoạt động không khí lạnh ít hơn tru

Hoạt động không khí lạnh ít hơn trung bình nhiều năm và năm 2014, nhưng đã gây ra 3 đợt rét đậm, rét hại; đặc biệt đợt không khí lạnh mạnh xảy ra vào đêm 6/1 vừa qua đã làm nền nhiệt Bắc Bộ giảm sâu, tại Sa Pa tỉnh Lào Cai đã xuất hiện mưa tuyết và băng giá.

Nắng nóng diễn ra liên tục với 6 đợt nắng nóng diện rộng, cường độ mạnh hơn trung bình nhiều năm, nhiều hơn so với năm 2014, trong đó ở miền Trung khu vực từ Thanh Hóa đến Quảng Nam xuất hiện 2 đợt nắng nóng diện rộng kéo dài, nhiều nơi đã vượt mức lịch sử quan trắc cùng thời kỳ.

Chỉ có 5 đợt mưa lớn diện rộng trên phạm vi cả nước, tuy nhiên đợt mưa lớn diện rộng đầu tiên của năm 2015 lại xảy ra vào ngày 9-11/1, sớm hơn so với năm 2014. Đợt mưa lớn diện rộng từ ngày 26-28/3 tại các tỉnh Quảng Trị đến Quảng Ngãi là trái quy luật và chưa từng gặp trong chuỗi số liệu quan trắc.
