Mùa vụ năm 1997-1998, nhà máy chính thức bắt đầu đi vào hoạt động. Sau khi hoàn thành nâng cấp công suất lên 9.000 tấn mía/ngày năm 2012 và tiếp tục nâng công suất 9.800 tấn mía/ngày năm 2013, hiện nay nhà máy có công ép 9.800 tấn mía/ngày, giúp nâng cao năng lực sản xuất và giảm áp lực đốn chặt mía, đáp ứng tiêu thụ mía cho người trồng mía trong giai đoạn chính vụ.
