Chương trình phổ thông của Việt Nam

Chương trình phổ thông của Việt Nam đặt nặng việc hấp thụ thật nhiều kiến thức tổng quát, ít chú trọng đến nâng cao phong cách con người, khả năng giao tiếp và sáng tạo. Học sinh Việt Nam, ngay từ cấp 1, chỉ biết học và học, không có thì giờ vui chơi, tập luyện thể thao, và phát triển những khả năng quan trọng khác như sự chủ động, tự tin, khả năng suy nghĩ độc lập, tìm tòi, khám phá, v.v..
Phương pháp giảng dạy có nhiều tính cách độc đoán. Học sinh thường chấp nhận tuyệt đối những kiến thức từ thầy cô và từ sách giáo khoa dù đúng hay sai. Học sinh rất ít được tự tìm tòi, suy nghĩ độc lập, chất vấn, thảo luận, phát biểu ý kiến, và khám phá những gì hợp với sở thích của mình. Phương pháp giảng dạy này không giúp học sinh phát triển phong cách con người, khả năng sáng tạo và khả năng giao tiếp.
Chương trình học rất ít linh động vì tất cả mọi học sinh học cùng một chương trình trong cùng một thời gian, không cần biết đến sự khác biệt về sự phát triển về tâm sinh lý của mỗi cá nhân và ở từng lứa tuổi, về hoàn cảnh gia đình, khác biệt về địa phương, v.v Kiến thức tổng quát thường học nhiều về nội địa và dân tộc (ít về thế giới), nhiều về quá khứ nhất là thành tích chiến tranh (rất ít về tương lai và lòng yêu chuộng hòa bình của người dân ), nặng về lý thuyết khoa học (nhẹ về ứng dụng). Vì thường học nhồi nhét, học sinh chóng quên những kiến thức không hợp thời cơ, không hợp sở thích và hoàn cảnh cá nhân hay mức độ phát triển về tâm sinh lý của cá nhân.

Vietnam students, right from level 1, only know the school and don't have time to learn, fun to play, sports training, and the development of other important abilities like the initiative, self-confidence, the ability to think independently, explore, discover, etc.The teaching methods are more authoritarian personality. Students often accept the absolute knowledge from teachers and textbooks right or wrong though. Very few students are self-study, independent thinking, questioning, discussion, comments, statements and discover what suits his interests. This teaching does not help students develop human style, creativity and ability to communicate.Very few programs flexible because all students learn the same program in the same time, regardless of the differences in physical development of each individual and at each stage, on the family situation, local differences, etc. General knowledge often learn much about domestic and peoples (at least about the world) many of the past for achievement is war (very little about the future and crush people's pacifist), heavy on scientific theory (light on the application).
